dibbadee:

Your hypocrisy sickens me. You will read this, and wonderful if I’m speaking of you. I am. You’ve said sorry so many times I wonder if it even means anything — maybe that’s why no one finds meaning in you. To be cared for requires you to care for others, and that is clearly the irony.

Zeroed in and zeroed out.

MY FAVORITE PHOTO OF 2011!!!
This photo was taken by local newspaper back in May. What makes this my favorite photo is not the shooting that was being covered by the media, but what was caught in the background. That was a night I went to a crime scene to relieve a fellow officer so he could go home for the night. That night the officer I relieved happened to be an officer who I had a great friendship with in the past but deteriorated over certain events. In an repeated attempt to reconnect with him he was finally receptive to my apology. What ensued was a conversation that had us catching up on everything we had missed in each others lives (caught above).
Not too long after that conversation did that one friend really step up to the plate and help me out in a way where I would be forever in debt to him. None of that would have been possible had it not been for that conversation, on that random night, on that scene of a shooting. Weird what magic could be caught in the background of a picture.

Trouble

patrickwolfpalisade:

Trouble you are perfect
In all your imperfection
I see myself
In your reflection
As you walk fear street
Keep Sturdy feet
Or be
Dancing on and up
Through pain and judgement
Sweet one
Forget all you’ve been told
The waggling Tongue
The eminent cold
You are the passion
That breaks the mould

Just Sayin

28 now
29 in a couple of weeks
Start all over again, possibly alone

Does my past define your perception of me, things you’ve heard and not seen?
Would I want it to? I haven’t been perfect. Who has?

I tried my hardest to give my all
I fell short

I’ll move onward, upward.
Head up, with the best of intent. I didn’t get this far to give up.

I love the people in my life, no ill will towards anyone

If I see you along the way, say “Hi”
